How Match Our Mountains Works

Match Our Mountains established an effective process during the 2003 Asheville City Council election for promoting key issues, evaluating candidates, making endorsements, raising financial support, and mobilizing voters who care about strengthening our local economy and protecting our environment.

This year, we sent written questionnaires to Asheville City Council candidates regarding our interest areas, and then we conducted in-person interviews. Now, we have made endorsements and will help financially back those who best support M.O.M.'s interest areas.
